Two elders appointed, a US$200,000 special contribution, and 150 baptisms . . .

We saw this year the powerful working of God's spirit of revival in the Lagos Church. God has blessed us with over 150 baptisms and restorations so far. We appointed 2 Elders in July to help in shepherding the Church, opened 4 new worship venues and are targeting over 40 more ares in Lagos to begin house churches in the next 3 years! The sacrificial heart of the disciples was on display as we took up over $200,000 in our special contribution - Lagos is looking to becoming fully self-supporting in 2010! (The church is 90% self supporting right now). Starting this December we hired 4 campus interns from the Beam Foundation Support to help take our work in 3 major university campuses in Lagos to new heights. May God grant us the grace to continue in his good work, as we spread his word to the most distant parts of the world. Shalom!
